Sgt. Stubby: An American Hero
Robert Conroy, a young Army “doughboy”, is about to see his future changed forever when a small dog with a stubby nose wanders in camp while the men of Yale University’s 102nd Infantry Regiment train. Conroy names his friend, gives him a family and offers to take Stubby on an adventure that will define a century. Stubby, the dog and his humans find themselves in France’s trenches and begin to make history. Gaston Baptiste, a French infantryman, becomes friends with the pair and follows them on their incredible journey through difficult conditions and extraordinary acts of courage. Stubby was honored for his bravery and is promoted to the rank Sergeant by the U.S. Army.
