Saturday Night Fever
Tony Manero is a Brooklyn resident, aged nineteen. He lives Saturdays at his local disco and has become the king of that nightclub with his unique moves on the dancefloor. However, life outside the club is not so bright. Tony is at home fighting with his father, and must compete with his brother, the priest, who has a starry-eyed family view. He also struggles to find fulfillment at his job as a painter. Things change for him when he meets Stephanie Mangano at the disco, and he begins training with her to compete in the dance contest. Stephanie has dreams about the rest of Brooklyn and plans to relocate to Manhattan, just across the bridge. This will change Tony’s entire life. –alfiehitchie
