Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves
Robin of Locksley, a Moor named Azeem and his father, were captured by Turks in the Crusades. Azeem escaped to England where he vows to stay until Robin repays him for saving his life. Robin’s dad, a nobleman loyal King Richard the Lionheart’s, was killed by the cruel Sheriff of Nottingham. He helped Richard install Prince John as King, while Richard is fighting in the Crusades. Robin vows revenge on his father and bring Richard back to the throne when he returns to England. He escapes from his childhood friend Maid Marian to seek help. There he meets exiled villager villagers, and he becomes their leader. He enlists their support to rid the country of all the evil that Sheriff had spread. –Graeme Roy
