Robin Hood: Men in Tights
Robin of Locksley is known for being the best archer in England. He just returned from fighting at the Holy Crusades where King Richard The Lionheart is fighting. Robin discovers that much of England he used to know has been destroyed, with his family’s home being taken by the Prince John, Richard’s brother, who took over the throne. The equally evil Sheriff in Rottingham is controlling Neurotic John, and everything they do for their own benefit at the expense the peasants and commoners. Robin has a group of merrymen to fight Prince John and the Sheriff. They include Blinkin, his long-serving blind servant, Ahchoo the misguided boy of Asneeze who saved him from jail while fighting in Crusades. Little John seems to believe that the name Little is just a coincidence to the fact that he’s a large, muscular man. Little John’s friend Will Scarlet O’Hara, a master of daggers, and Little John’s. Robin meets Marian of Bagelle (a court maid) when he goes to the palace. Marian seeks the man with the literal and figurative key that will unlock her heart, as well as private parts. Marian is being watched closely by the Sheriff, who has also become the target of Latrine’s desire, an evil sorceress and powerful hag. Robin and the Sheriff, in particular, are determined to reach their ultimate goals. They want to protect the royal throne and Maid Marian’s heart. –Huggo
