Rise of the Planet of the Apes
Caesar (Andy Serkis) is the heart of this story. He’s a chimpanzee that gains human-like intelligence from an experimental drug. Caesar is raised by Will Rodman, a drug creator (James Franco), and Caroline Aranha (Freida pinto), as a child. He eventually finds himself separated from his family and placed in San Bruno’s ape sanctuary. Caesar seeks justice for the other inmates and gives his fellow apes the drug he inherited. The simian leader then forms a force and flees from the sanctuary. This sets man and animal on an unstoppable collision course that will change the world forever. 20th Century Fox
