Red Dawn (1984)
Soviet, Nicaraguan and Cuban troops appear to be flying high above the Colorado high school football field. Within seconds the paratroopers attack the school, sending a small group of teens fleeing to the mountains. The teens are left with only hunting rifles, pistols, bows and and arrows to help them survive bitter winters in the Soviet K.G.B. Patrols are sent to hunt for the teens. Trouble occurs when they shoot down a number of Soviet soldiers who were patrolling the highlands. They will soon wage their own guerrilla war against invading Soviet soldiers under the banner “Wolverines!” –Derek O’Cain
