Rambo

Vietnam vet John Rambo survived many traumatic ordeals during his life. He has now settled down in Thailand where he enjoys driving around with locals and capturing snakes. Although he wants to stay out of trouble, trouble will find him. A group of Christian missionaries led by Sarah Miller and Michael Burnett approach Rambo to offer to rent their boat for a trip up the River to Burma. Burma was a war-zone for more than fifty years. Karen peasants, farmers and other people from this region have suffered brutal oppression under the Burmese military. They have struggled for survival each day. Rambo, Sarah and Michael accept the offer after some reflection. The missionaries arrive in Karen to find that they are part of an attack by Major Pa Tee Tint, a sadistic Burmese soldier and several other soldiers. Tint’s men and villagers torture and brutally kill a portion of the missionaries and villagers, and then hold captive the rest. The minister responsible for the mission is concerned about their disappearance and gathers a team of mercenaries to plead Rambo to transport them along with his boat. He knows the exact location. Rambo isn’t content to stay put. He joins the group where he belongs in order to rescue the survivors from Major Tint.
