Pet Sematary (1989)
Louis Creed and his young family, Rachel Creed (a doctor), and Ellie Creed (a daughter and toddler) move to Ludlow in Maine. They are located close to the highway, making it difficult for them to get started. After Rachel’s beloved tomcat was tragically killed in an accident, Louis, who is desperate, will follow the advice of his friend to put it to rest in an old Micmac cemetery. This ancient burial ground has a mysterious, magical, and reanimating power. Louis is now devastated by the horrible results of the accident and the constant warnings from the recently deceased. He will not rest until he returns to the Indian cemetery in the hope that things will improve this time. But, is it possible for the dead to truly come out of the grave? –Nick Riganas
