Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief
Zeus charges Poseidon’s son Percy Jackson with stealing his lightning bolt. He gives Poseidon fourteen days to return the item or he will start a war between the gods. Percy Jackson, a teenager with ADHD and dyslexia, is at The Museum of Metropolitan of Art when he is attacked by the Fury disguised as his teacher. Grover, Percy’s best friend and physically disabled son, reveals to him that Percy has been a protector. Mr Brunner then gives Percy a pen and tells him it is powerful. Percy and Sally drive together to Camp Half-Blood. Sally, however, is attacked and killed by a Minotaur before Percy can save her. Percy makes friends with Annabeth, a beautiful girl. However, when Hades attacks them, Percy learns that Hades is looking for the lightning bolt. Percy sets out on dangerous journey to find the lightning bolt, and rescue his mother.
