Nosferatu
Wisbourg-based agent Knock sends Hutter to the castle of Count Orlok in Transylvania. The Count is looking for a house to himself in Wisbourg. The two plan to sell him the house that is just across the street from Hutter. Hutter is absent from Ellen his innocent wife. He leaves Ellen with a few friends. Hutter’s journey is unusual, as many people don’t want to let him go near the castle that has been witnessing strange happenings. Hutter sells the castle to the Count, and he feels strange occurrences. Hutter also experiences a shadow hovering over his head, especially during the day when the Count is not sleeping. Hutter finally sees the sleeping room of the Count in the crypt. Based on the book that he just read, he believes the Count to be a Nosferatu or vampire. Hutter remains trapped inside the castle while the Count hides in a shipment coffins and makes his way towards Wisbourg. He causes death, most people attribute to the plague. Hutter tries to rescue his hometown and save Ellen from Nosferatu. Ellen in Wisbourg can sense the approaching darkness and Nosferatu’s approach. She discovers that even a perfect woman can give her life to defeat the vampire. Hutter will be able save Ellen from Nosferatu or her own self-sacrifice. –Huggo
