Norm of the North

Norm, the polar bear, is the son and daughter of the kings of the Arctic. His grandfather passed on the gift of his ability to communicate with humans to him in his youth. He is an outsider among the animals and is rejected by Socrates, a wise bird. Elizabeth is a female polar bear with whom Norm falls in love. Norm’s grandfather is gone, and humans are flooding the Arctic. Socrates shows Norm, three Arctic lemmings and a luxurious condo on the ice. Vera is a representative of wealthy developer Mr. Greene. After Norm rescues Vera from an avalanche Mr. Greene asks Vera to look for an actor who can play a polar bear in their campaign. Socrates persuades Norm and his lemmings that they should stow on a boat to New York City.
