Mulan
The story is a retelling an old Chinese folktale about a young Chinese maiden, who discovers her weak and disabled father has been called into the army to combat the Huns. She realizes that her father would not survive war and she chooses to hide herself so that she can join him. She is unaware that her ancestors know this. They order Mushu, a small disgraced dragon to accompany her and force her to give up her plans. Mulan convinces him to agree, but he soon realizes she is not a fool and decides to support her through the difficult times. –Kenneth Chisholm
