Mr. Deeds
Longfellow, who is a poet and pizzeria-owner in his hometown, receives $40 billion as a bequest from his uncle. He quickly learns how to make a new kind of dough. Deeds moves to New York City and is surrounded by businessmen all looking for their slice of the pie. Babe is a TV tabloid reporter who poses as a small-town girl in order to expose Deeds. Babe falls in love instead with Deeds because of his sincere naivete. Deeds eventually discovers that although money can change the world, it does not necessarily have to change his life.
