Monster (2003)
This is the true story about serial killer Aileen WUornos, who was found guilty of murdering men and sentenced to death. She was executed in 2002. She was working as prostitute in 1989 and eventually makes friends when she starts a relationship Selby with her. She is determined to improve her life and finds legitimate work, but she has limited education and social skills. After grabbing rides on the interstate highway, she meets a vicious client and kills her in self defense. She then kills clients, taking their car and money. She claims she was acting in self defense, but eventually is convicted. –garykmcd
