Mission: Impossible
Based on the popular television show. Jim Phelps, played by Jon Voight, was assigned to Prague to stop the theft of classified materials. Phelps’ team included his wife Claire (Emmanuelle Beart), and Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise). Ethan Hunt was the only survivor after the mission went horribly wrong. Kittridge (Henry Czerny), head of the agency suspects Ethan in the mission’s failure. Ethan now uses unconventional methods, including the assistance of an arms dealer whose name is “Max” (Vanessa Redgrave), to track down the person responsible and clear his name. –John Wiggins
