Boris (JemaineClement) breaks out of LunarMax (a moon-based maximum-security prison), and decides that he will go back in history to eliminate Agent K (Josh Branolin). After he succeeds, Agent J (Will Smith), realizes the timeline was changed. He too travels back in time to the July 15th 1969 date before Agent K’s death. J convinces young K (Michael Stuhlbarg) that he really is who he claims to be and what he does. They track down Boris with the assistance of Griffin (Michael Stuhlbarg), who is able to see every timeline. J learns something that Agent K (Tommy Lee Jones), an old agent, has never revealed to him. –garykmcd
