MASH Unit 4077 personnel deal with horrors from the Korean War as well as the stress of surgery. Recent arrivals at MASH are surgeons Captains Hawkeye’ Pierce and —Dukeâ€TM Forrest. Trapper John McIntyre, who Hawkeye is sure he has met, but Trapper won’t reveal where – whose behavior can best be described as unregulated and, in the words of one fellow MASH-er, unmilitary. This behavior is not a problem for Colonel Henry Blake (the unit’s commanding officers), as long it does not affect his work and if they are doing their jobs well. They are a problem for Major Frank Burns (a surgeon) and Major Margaret Houlihan (a head nurse), who get the nickname “Hot Lips” from information that they find about her via underhanded sources. They battle with Frank, Hot Lips and Hawkeye. Trapper dentist Painless is also in distress. The two men attempt to determine if Hot Lips really is blonde. After overcoming a personal crisis, they travel to Japan to work on their project and to try and win big at a bet on another unit’s football team. –Huggo
