Will Graham, also known as William Petersen in the F.B.I. He recently moved to Florida with Molly Greist (Kim Greist), their son Kevin (David Seaman), and his wife Molly. Graham is a profiler, one who analyzes criminal behavior. He also tries to get into criminals’ heads to see their thoughts and feelings while visiting crime scenes. Will was forced to come out of retirement by Jack Crawford, his ex-boss (Denis Farina), in order to assist the F.B.I. The F.B.I. is able to catch a serial killer known as “The Tooth Fairy”, (Tom Noonan). This mysterious serial killer randomly targets families and leaves bite marks. Will meets with Brian Cox (Dr. Hannibal Lecktor), an imprisoned, charismatic serial killer who nearly killed Will years ago. Will race against time to beat the “Tooth Fairy”, with some assistance and hindrance. A local photographer, Francis Dollarhyde (the killer Will is searching for), struggles to remain undetected and sees a chance of redemption as he begins a relationship, with Joan Allen, who is blind, but is unaware of the double life. –matt-282
