Lay the Favorite
Beth is a lap dancer to help make ends meet and leaves Florida to become a waitress in Las Vegas. Two women introduce Beth to Dink who is a gambler and has a system. She is a good at numbers and he hires her. He quickly falls in love with her, even though she is married to someone who spends all of his money. Beth attempts to seduce Dink, whose wife Tulip tells him to pick. He chooses and quickly goes on losing streak. His choice has disastrous consequences for him. He is a gambler with a parole officer and a Curacao bookmaker. Beth wants to help her friend stay out of jail. —
