Kung Fu Jungle
Fung, a vicious killer who kills top practitioners of martial arts in Hong Kong, leaves behind a mysterious weapon known as the Moonshadow and goes about his business. Ha, who was a former martial arts instructor and is now a master of kung fu, hears about the murder and offers his help to the police to catch him. The police learn from Ha that the killer targets his top martial artists masters and follow a strict code of martial training. Ha disappears suddenly after a brief encounter with Fung. The police suspect that Fung is the one who helped Ha escape jail. Ha actually returned to Foshan, to learn more about Fung’s mysterious calling card. He discovers who the killer is and what his motives are. Fung’s true martial art philosophy is to destroy opponents weaker than himself. Ha resists being drawn into fighting with Fung until the killer threatens his love, the one he most loves. He realizes that to keep the martial code alive, he must go against it. –DOK
