Kite (2014)
Never underestimate a girl with nothing to lose. KITE, an anime adaptation of the cult-classic manga, tells the story of Sawa (“India Eisley”, “The Secret Life of the American Teenager,” Underworld: Awakening), who is a young girl living in corrupt society, where crime and gangs rule the streets. Sawa begins an aggressive pursuit of the murderer after her father and mother are murdered in a double homicide. She is assisted by Karl Aker, her father’s ex partner (Samuel L. Jackson and Captain America: The Winter Soldier), as well as a mysterious friend (Callan McAuliffe from The Great Gatsby, Number Four), who becomes her ruthless teenage assassin.
