Kill Your Darlings

Allen Ginsberg, an English major, is a Columbia University student in the 1940s. He soon discovers that he has learned more than he expected. Allen is dissatisfied with the school’s orthodox views and finds himself attracted to his iconoclastic peers like Lucien Carr or William S. Burroughs. This gang of writers would create bold literary concepts that challenged the sensibilities and would be called the Beat Generation. Their creativity is not enough to make their lives memorable. –Kenneth Chisholm ([email protected])
