Justice League: Gods and Monsters
Superman, in an alternate universe is Zod’s son. He was raised by caring parents of Mexican immigrants. Batman is a young vampiric physician, Kirk Langstrom. Wonder Woman, Bekka is Bekka the widowed Queen of Darkside. They form the Justice League despite Lex Luthor’s protests and being wheelchair bound. The three antiheroes operate outside the laws and sometimes kill villains. However, the US government accepts and cooperates with them, as they are open to cooperating with authorities. They also never murder civilians. The protests and paranoia against their untouchable positions and methods are increasing. The situation turns sour when the pair are accused of the murders of a number of scientists who worked for the government. President Amanda Waller then orders them to be arrested. The two decide to resist arrest until they find out the true culprits.
