Jeremiah Johnson

Jeremiah Johnson decides, in the middle of the nineteenth century, that after serving in the US Army, he prefers a quiet life and, more importantly, peace in nature. He lives in the American frontier mountains. The plan involves finding land on which to build a home. He finds that his quest is not as simple as it seems. In order to get his feet on the ground, he needs the help of others. This leads him to make friends and become more part of his daily life than he could have ever imagined. Most importantly, he learns how to live with various Indian tribes. Jeremiah’s response to the US Cavalry prompts a series of events that could forever alter the peace he had worked hard for with his neighbours and land. –Huggo
