Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit
Jack Ryan is a student at London School of Economics and becomes a U.S. Marine in Afghanistan after the 9/11 terrorist attacks. His spine is severely injured by the helicopter that he was flying. Cathy Muller (a medical student who helps him walk again) and Thomas Harper (an official of the C.I.A.) are among his friends during the recovery. He is recruited by the C.I.A. Ryan, ten years later, is still working secretly on Wall Street for the C.I.A, searching for suspicious financial transactions that could indicate terrorist activity. Viktor Cherevin has a vast amount of money in Russian funds, and Ryan discovers this. Ryan works for Cherevin’s company, and when he discovers that certain accounts are not accessible to him as an auditor due to this, he decides to travel to Moscow to investigate. He discovers that the plot is connected to the attacks of September 11. He now has to find the who, what, and when. –frank-liesenborgs
