In the Blood
Ava and Derek Grant fall in love, marry, and their father Robert Grant protests. He believes Ava is an aspiring gold miner. Ava was abused by her father Casey, who taught her martial arts and other fighting skills. Ava and Derek go on their honeymoon to Caribe. Soon, they meet Manny the local who invites them to join a nightclub. Ava is attacked by Big Biz, a powerful gangster who fights alongside his minions. Manny drives them to Tyrolean Crossing the following morning. But, out of nowhere, Derek experiences a problem in his gear. He falls from a zipline high above a valley and breaks his leg. Ava locates him, and an ambulance transports Derek to the local hospital. Ava rides Manny’s bike, but follows an ambulance and crashes into the ambulance. She does not see Derek when she arrives at the clinic. She visits the police station, and Chief Ramon Garza promises that he will help her. Soon, Ava realizes there’s a plot and she decides to go it alone in search of her husband.
