Idiocracy

One of the most secretive and controversial experiments in the US Army has been led by Officer Collins: The Human Hibernation Project. The project, if it is successful, would keep its subjects stored indefinitely until their most urgent needs are met. Joe Bauers, their first subject of testing, was not selected for his superiority. He was chosen instead because he is the average soldier in the Armed Services. After the experiment is completed, scandal ensues. The base is shut down and the president denies knowing about it. Joe does not wake up within a year. He wakes up after 500 years. However, human evolution has been in a drastic downturn since then. Joe wakes up and takes an IQ test in prison. He discovers that he is the most intelligent person alive. Joe is awaiting a presidential pardon to help him solve the nation’s greatest problem, the declining plant population. Joe race against the clock to do this. He alienates half of the country. He is unable to make amends and avoid a bizarre execution. –halo1k
