Hellboy
Karl Ruprecht Kroenen, a Nazi officer, and Ilsa Hupstein, a nurse, start an experiment on raising the Hell forces through Russian dark mystic Rasputin. However, it is interrupted by an allied commando led by Trevor “Broom”, Bruttenholm. While he prevents the killing of the half-human-demonic human-blood accidentally created, he raises the “Hellboy” while also rising to the top of the secret C.I.A.-linked U.S agency Bureau of Paranormal Research which secretly researches and uses the supernatural. He selects John Myers, an intelligent, compassionate Agent, to be his new companion-minder, since Agent Clay, the regular “warrior”, can’t empathize or has limited mental flexibility and is beginning to age. Hellboy can be quite the nuisance, and is often spotted by concerned civilians who are on unapproved excursions to visit a pyro-telekinetic friend at a mental asylum. Johnny, Clay, and Hellboy team up to fight paranormal threats alongside aquatic-bionic freak Abe sapien. As the monster Sammael grows, their task becomes more difficult, while Rasputin, Nazis, and other paranormal threats reemerge, ready to take revenge. –KGF Vissers
