Happy Feet
Mumble, a penguin who sings poorly and then discovers that he doesn’t have Heartsong. Mumble is a tap dancer, something none of the other penguins have seen. Mumble’s mother, Norma Jean thinks that this cute little act is adorable, but Memphis his father, insists it “just ain’t penguin”. Mumble and his dad know full well that Mumble might never be able to find love without the Heartsong. His one friend and best friend Gloria happens to be his favorite singer. Mumble and Gloria are close from their infancy, though she has trouble with her “hippity hoppity” tendencies. Mumble is just too different–especially for Noah the Elder, the stern leader of Emperor Land, who ultimately casts him out of the community. Mumble is stranded far from his home when he meets the Adelie Amigos, a group of penguins who are very different to Emperor Land. Ramon leads Mumble to the Adelies, who instantly love Mumble’s dance moves and invite him along for a party. Mumble visits Adelie Land to seek the advice of Lovelace, the Guru. This crazy-feathered Rockhopper penguin will help him answer all of his questions. Mumble, Lovelace, and the Amigos set out to explore vast terrains.
