Gummo
Harmony Korine, a director, created this movie through randomly selected scenes. He abruptly dropped any kind of plot. So here it is: Solomon and Tummler, two teenage boys living in Xenia (Ohio), are Solomon and Tummler. It was hit by a tornado in the past few years, which decimated more than half of the city and killed Solomon’s dad. From there, the film chronicles their anti-social adventures. They have sex with cats and kill them, as well as riding dirtbikes and listening to black music. One man pimps his mentally-ill wife to the anti-heroes; three sisters play with their cat, practice being strippers and a black midget fighting off the sexual advances from a troubled guy (played in the director Harmony Korine); Solomon’s mother, who appears to have the last glimpse of sanity; two filthy six-year-olds and, most important, a skateboarder dressed as a Nymph who wears pink rabbit ears and walks through town in hero –Anonymous
