Ghostbusters (1984)
Columbia University is home to Ray Stantz, Peter Venkman and Egon Spengler. They are paranormal investigators and conduct unethical experiments with their students. They learn a lot about the paranormal after being kicked out by the University. They are now called Ghostbusters and live in an old firehouse. They charge a fee. The media report that the Ghostbusters were the reason for the chaos. They are made national news. The mayor is sent to jail and urged by the EPA to save his city. The cause of the paranormal activity is a building in downtown Manhattan that was built by Evo Shandor, an old Gozer worshiper. The building is believed to be capable of resurrecting the Hittite ancient god Gozer and bringing an end all humankind. You will need to call someone to end this horrible, world-ending threat. –Chad Grill
