Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children
A disease known as ‘Seikon Shoukougun’ or ‘Geostigma is now spreading across the globe two years after events in Final Fantasy VII. The body’s inability to fight off the foreign material invaded it two years ago, after the events of Final Fantasy VII. Ex-SOLDIER Cloud Strife, who is guilt-ridden and haunted from the past, has chosen to lead a lonely, isolated life, away from his family, while still maintaining “Strife’s Delivery Service”, which headquarters are located at Tifa Lockheart’s Seventh Heaven bar. Tifa’s Bar is an orphanage that cares for Geostigma-stricken children. Tifa watches Barret and Marlene’s six year old daughter while Barret explores the world for an alternate energy source. Cloud gets a call one day from Rufus, the ex-president of Shinra, Inc., asking for his protection from Kadaj, a mysterious man. Kadaj and his brothers Loz, Yazoo and Yazoo are still searching for their mother and believe Cloud is the one who can find her. Vincent Valentine, meanwhile, has been roaming around the planet collecting information about Kadaj’s plan. Cloud and his friends will have to come back together in order to defeat these new enemies. –Andrea
