Easy Rider

Wyatt and Billy, two hippies, make a substantial profit on their drug deals. Wyatt is complete in his Captain America gear, and Billy has the same motif. They then cycle in less than a week from Los Angeles to New Orleans to Mardi Gras. The proceeds of this trip are not going to be spent on the trip. They will save that money for an easier life in Florida. Wyatt, who believes in the practicality and karmic nature of helping other people when possible, is more open-minded than Billy. Billy, however, is more cautious about the people they meet, particularly when hiding the wad of money in Wyatt’s gas tank. This is their future. While they’ll discover that not every counter-culturalist has the same mentality, they will be able to find spiritual and practical connections with others even in the strangest of locations and people. They will be criticized for their hippie status, but not because they fear them. Wyatt, in particular, evaluates whether the trip is what he wants or expects for his life. –Huggo
