Dredd
America’s future is an irradiated wasteland. Mega City One is a violent, chaotic metropolis that runs from Boston to Washington DC on the East Coast. Urban cops known as “Judges”, who have the power of both judge, jury, and immediate executioner are the only ones that can bring order to the streets. Dredd, feared and respected throughout the city is the ultimate Judge. He must rid the city from the latest crime, a drug epidemic which has made it impossible for people to experience reality at half the speed that they used to. Dredd has to evaluate Cassandra Anderson (a newbie with psychic powers due to a genetic mutation) during a typical day of work. They are called to the scene of a terrible crime. It is a 200-story vertical slum run by Ma-Ma, a prostitute and drug lord. Ma-Ma captures one member of the clan’s inner circle and wage a vicious, bloody war on the Judges. She will not stop trying to defend her empire. Anderson and Dredd must face the grim reality of increasing body counts and fighting for survival. –Production
