Dances with Wolves

After accidentally leading Union troops to victory in the Civil War, Lt. John Dunbar has been called a hero. He asks for a post on the west frontier but is turned down. Soon he realizes he’s not the only one. He meets “Two-socks”, a wolf that he calls, and an Indian tribe. Dunbar soon makes friends with this tribe and meets a woman of color who was raised in the Indian tradition. He slowly earns respect from these Native Americans and begins to shed his white-man ways. –Greg Bole
