ChickLit
The comedy drama is about four men who try to save the local pub’s closing. They write a chick-lit, or more precisely, a “mummy porn”, novel in the fashion of “Fifty Shades of Grey”. It is quickly snapped up. One problem is the fact that the publisher demands that the “author”, a young woman, does publicity and press. To keep the men’s involvement secret, the publisher hired an actress who is not in the workforce to play the role of the author. She is the main character in the film adaptation of the book. They are now in the control of her, which leaves them facing the terrible prospect that they will have to continue writing sex books for the future. –Production
