Cemetery Man
The movie was based upon a Tiziano Scali novel. It always reflect the “sclavian philosophy”, which is diffused by Dylan Dog, the comics’ detective. The duality of love and death (in Italian, “dellamore”, means “of love”, and “dellamorte”, means “of mortality”) is something that Dellamorte experiences in an extremely difficult way. Dellamorte is the head of Buffalora’s cemetery, which is a small town north of Italy. There, for some unknown reason, there are many corpses rising from the tombs, and Dellamorte must destroy them. He seems to not ask why it happens, instead he loves and shoots. He wants Buffalora, but he doesn’t want to go. –Bruno Iannazzo
