Casper
Carrigan Crittenden (Cathy Moriarty), furious at her father’s decision to leave her a gloomy mansion instead of his million-dollar estate, is determined to set fire to it. However, she finds a map that leads to a hidden treasure in the home. When she attempts to claim her inheritance, she’s frightened by the wicked ghosts that haunt the mansion. She is determined to find the hidden wealth and hires Dr. James Harvey (Bill Pulman), an afterlife therapist, to help her exorcise these ghosts. Harvey moves in with Kat (Christina Ricci), his daughter. Soon Kat is able to meet Casper (Malachi Parsons), the ghost from a young boy and “the friendliest ghost that you’ll ever know”. Casper’s uncles are not as friendly, Fatso (Brad Garrett), Stretch (Joe Nipote), and Stinkie(Joe Alaskey), who want to drive “fleshies away”. It is ultimately up to James, Kat and the others to get the ghosts to cross to the other side. –Joshua Davis
