After Suzy moves on, Ben Willis becomes chronically insomniac after separating from his girlfriend of art Ben Willis. He starts to work the late-night shift at the supermarket in an attempt to pass the time. He meets many interesting characters who have their own ways of dealing with boredom after working eight hours. Ben believes that his art is to stop time. He can then appreciate the beauty and artistic merit of the frozen world, and its inhabitants – Sharon is a quiet, pretty checkout girl who may have the solution to Ben’s problem with insomnia. –pyratio
