Boyhood (2014)
Richard Linklater’s BOYHOOD was filmed over twelve years and features the same cast. It is an original story about growing up, as told through Mason’s eyes (a remarkable performance by Ellar Coletrane), which literally grows up before our eyes. BOYHOOD stars Patricia Arquette and Ethan Hawke as Mason and Lorelei Linklater plays Samantha. The soundtrack spans the decades from Coldplay’s Yellow through Arcade Fire’s Deep Blue, and captures the essence of childhood. BOYHOOD serves as both a time capsule for the past, and a celebration of growing up and parenthood. IFC Films
