Body Double
Jake Scully returns home in search of his girlfriend, and must find another place. He scans every paper in between acting classes and his work as a vampire B movie actor. Sam Bouchard is a fellow actor and needs a housesitter. They are both happy with their arrangement, which will see Jake stay in the house. Sam also shows Jake his favourite neighbor, who is a strong woman and strips each night with her window open. Jake is obsessed by her, and he manages to recover the purse of a thief. However, due to his own fear, he becomes incapacitated when the tunnel-running thief passes through. Jake witnessing a crime he is able to see that police are fond of pinning crimes on the peeping Toms. Jake finds that there are too many coincidences and must find them himself, without any help from the police. –John Vogel
