Dean Pereira, Cindy Heller Pereira, are young working-class married couple. Cindy is a painter and Dean works as a photographer. Cindy is a nurse at a clinic and Cindy has a daughter, Frankie. They are both young and incredibly happy despite their tender age. Dean is a high school dropout who grew up in a dysfunctional home without a mom figure. Although he fell in love with Cindy, he never imagined himself marrying or starting a family. Although he doesn’t see himself as having any other professional goals, he does enjoy his job. Cindy is confident that he holds so many more possibilities in his life. Cindy comes from dysfunctional parents. Her father and mother were not supportive of her family’s ideals for a happy marriage or family. Bobby Ontario was her first serious relationship. This has had a significant impact on her marriage. Dean and Cindy leave for an overnight trip together, without Frankie. This getaway may help to see if the couple can overcome their many problems. –Huggo
