Blackmark
Unknown entity has taken control of a Soviet missile, and directed it towards the United States. Just minutes before Mutually Assured Destruct, an American nuclear officer and a Soviet military commander raced against time to stop a country from nuclear destruction. They are unaware that their threat could be the start of a much bigger crisis, one which will forever change history. Blackmark is the first feature-length film that examines the Cold War through the eyes of the military industrial community. This film tells the story of the origin story and shows the immense power and influence that these corporations have over modern history. The film is a high-tension thriller that defies genre and infuses fear and paranoia with global politics. It reminds me of the classic thrillers “Seven Days in May,” and “The Hunt for Red October.”
