Apocalypse Now
This is at the peak of Vietnam’s war. U.S. Army Colonel Willard and General Lucas are sent to conduct a mission that officially ‘doesn’t exist, nor will ever exist’. Mission: Find Walter Kurtz (Green Beret Colonel), who has led hit-and-run operations against NVA and Viet Cong troops across the border to Cambodia. Willard is assigned to kill Kurtz, who the army claims has become completely insane. Willard is sent to the Nung River by a U.S. Navy Patrol boat and discovers his target, one of the most decorated U.S. Army officers. He meets Lt.Colonel Kilgore (surfer type), who is the head of an U.S Army helicopter combat group that eliminates Viet Cong posts to allow for entry into Nung River. Willard, Lance, and Chef finally reach Colonel Kurtz’s post, just beyond the Do Lung Bridge. Will Willard be released from Kurtz’s prison cell?
