Alone We Fight
The movie is about the love story between several GIs and all they have left of a larger Rangers unit. They have been taken captive and fight for their freedom, eventually returning to the unit with many of their friends. They are informed by a German attack that, if it is not stopped will be rolled over wounded and nurses. They are to destroy a petrol station in order to deny Germans fuel for the next attack. Saving Private Ryan is not the right movie for you. This movie is good if you are looking for a film that explores unit relationships and small-unit combat. It also shows what it is like when things are tough.
