About Time
Tim Lake (Domhnall Geeson), 21 years old, discovers that he is able to travel through time. After another disappointing New Year’s party, Tim’s father Bill Nighy tells him that his men have had the ability of traveling through time since childhood. Tim cannot change the past, but what has occurred in his life can be changed. So he gets a girlfriend to improve his world. Unfortunately, it is not as simple as you think. Tim moves from Cornwall to London in order to become a lawyer. He finally meets Mary McAdams (Rachel McAdams). After falling in love, a time-travel accident meant that he hadn’t met her. They meet again and again, but finally, after much time-traveling cunning, they win her hearts. Tim uses his ability to make the perfect proposal. He also saves his friend’s wedding from bad best-man speeches. Tim is also able to transport his wife, who was pregnant, to the hospital just in time to deliver their baby. As his life becomes more unusual, Tim realizes his gift is not enough to save him from all the pains and struggles that every family experiences. It is not possible to travel in time without being dangerous. Universal Pictures
