A Good American
The story of A Good American is about the code-breaker who saved the USA. He and a team from NSA developed a surveillance tool capable of picking up all electronic signals on the planet, filtering them for targets and rendering results in real time. All while maintaining the US Constitution’s privacy. It was perfect, except that it was too expensive. The NSA leadership had lost control of the tool and it was thrown out by industry three weeks before 9/11. The program found terrorists in a secret program test against an NSA pre-9/11 database.
