This memoir, “Guantanamo diary” by Mohamedou Ould Slahi is based on Slahi’s true story. She was detained for many years and then imprisoned by the U.S. Government without any charges. Slahi is alone and terrified, but Nancy Hollander, a defense lawyer and Teri Duncan her assistant fight the U.S. Government in a struggle for justice. This battle tests both their dedication to law and the client they represent.
