Rain Man

Charles Sanford “Charlie” Babbit is a self-centered Los Angeles-based automobile dealer/hustler/bookie who is at war with his own life. Charlie was a teenager when he used the Buick convertible 1949 Buick without his permission. He ended up in jail two days later after his father claimed that it had been stolen. Charlie discovers his father had died. He left Charlie a large bed and the Buick convertible, while $3 million of his estate will go into a trust fund that will be divided amongst others. Charlie was angry and decided to investigate the matter. Charlie is convinced that Raymond, Charlie’s unidentified brother and autistic genius who lives in his own world, has been kidnapped by this “someone”. Charlie kidnaps Raymond, and threatens him with the $3 million inheritance. Raymond is a naive and persistently talks about “Abbott” throughout his acts.
