Cameron, a boy from New York, lives with Lindsey his Dutch mother. She is divorcing Dan his alcoholic father. Cameron hears an attack by a homeless lady in his kitchen one night. He kills her and breaks her neck. Camilla, a representative of the Vatican summons Dr. Ember to assist the boy who is being possessed. However, the exorcism does not work. With the help of Oliver and Riley, Dr. Ember can enter the minds of demon-possessed people and bring them back into reality. This is a risky procedure. Cameron is visited by Dr. Ember who discovers the demon Maggie has taken control of him. Maggie killed Cameron’s wife and child in an automobile accident.
